I photograph every day and am always seeking to improve my skills. I consider myself a student of photography, even though I haven't taken any classes. When I'm not taking photographs I'm looking at them, thinking about them, and framing pictures in my head. I started with digital but now I shoot mostly black and white film with a manual focus rangefinder. I like the look of film and the feel of a purely mechanical camera in my hands. I love Garry Winogrand, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Jeff Mermelstein, Helen Levitt, Bruce Davidson, Jill Freedman, Elliott Erwitt, Cartier-Bresson. Thanks for looking.
