Gayatri is an Indian American researcher and photographer who discovered her passion for gender equality and women’s rights as a child growing up in India. She researches the impacts of harmful gender norms on women and girls, men and boys, and transforming gender attitudes. In her other life, she uses photography as a form of creative self-expression and a communication tool for advocacy and campaigns. She ensures gender is an integral part of international development programming and evaluations worldwide.
